Sadly, this is not a first chapter, not even a proper introduction, but merely an announcement. Sorry to disappoint ya. Not like anyone reads this anyway.
I have to put a few more components in place before I can begin this story. For starters, I need to finish my research paper, flute recital, and the play that I'm playing flute accompaniment for. I can't really do much else until those are finished, which will be another three weeks. Then, I need to actually play the game, so that I can make them world-famous singers, best friends/enemies, etc. before the story starts. Lastly, I need to install two more things for my game, which I can't do till after the aforementioned three things have been accomplished. Oh yeah, and coming up with an actual storyline might be helpful as well.
One final thing. That blog I mentioned near the title of this one? Here's a link: Vocafans: On the Same Page. It's written by my friend and is quite informative. And humorous. Way more humorous than this, I assure you.
See you soon! I will keep you (heh, I mean you invisible, nonexistent for the most part readers of this blog) posted on the status of my game/story/life.
Thirteen Vocaloids (see blog for description) find themselves in the Sim world. The story of how they survive (read: coexist). Also read my friend's blog, On The Same Page, if you want to know more about Vocaloid. I have a link somewhere. Just not here.
Picture of the Moment
This will change frequently. Just sayin'.

A Disclaimer (Very Boring, I Know, But It Must Be Done) and an Introduction of Sorts
Welcome to my story! I'm very glad that you showed remote interest at whatever the link in my signature led to. Or perhaps you saw my post for this story on Carl and Pam's Forum. Or maybe I just shamelessly advertised this story to you. However you found it, welcome.
First off, the disclaimer. I do not own any of the following companies/brands/etc. or anything associated with them: Yamaha, Vocaloid, UTAU, AH Software, Crypton Future Media, INTERNET Co., Ltd., Electronic Arts, or Sims 3. I don't own any of the characters; I just took some artistic license in creating them (nor do I take any credit for the songs which were used in forming their personalities). And credit for the house goes to the wonderful judewright of the forum I mentioned before. This story is basically a fan fiction; I only organized the parts and played it out on The Sims 3. And one last thing...I will try to be humorous, but I'm not promising anything. I don't think I'm a terribly funny person.
Next (and last), the introduction/explanation. I was going to publish this story on the forum, but since most people on there probably don't know about Vocaloids, I figured this would be a better idea. Oh, you don't know what the heck a Vocaloid is, you say? Well, allow me to shed some light on the subject. According to the Vocaloid Wiki (yes, there is such a thing!), "Vocaloid is a singing synthesizer application software developed by the Yamaha Corporation." Now why on earth would I be writing a story/playing a game about software? The software was used to create virtual singing voices, which in turn were used to create songs, which were posted on Japanese Youtube, which spawned personalities for the "singers"... And since then, more voices, characters, and Internet memes have been made, resulting in a huge Vocaloid fandom, of which I am a (very small) part. If this is too confusing, here is a better explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vocaloid.
The premise of the story? Thirteen of my favorite characters from Vocaloid, all living together under one roof, and the drama that goes on between them. Trust me, there will be screaming matches. And romance. And possibly humor. I will also include some of my favorite songs in the story. In fact, most of the posts/episodes will be mini-dramas based off of individual songs. So it's going to be an interesting ride. Hang in here with me. But the good news? I think I will really finish this one!
So there you have it. The beginning of a crazy story by an even crazier author. Enjoy!
